Perspective: The Bare Branches of Late Winter

As crazy as it sounds, I am fascinated with the silhouettes of trees against an almost black sky just before the leaves appear.  I love the way the branches twist, weave and multiply, and the intense depth of the sky color after sunset.  It's simultaneously spooky and stunning.  These shots all required my Gizmo tripod for a lengthy multi-second exposure that defies the almost black sky.
